Spring Season 08/09

After a slow start with December being very cold we got a good spell over Christmas and then an extended sunny period through Janurary and early with great park riding conditions we finally got the goods late in the season. Yes it took longer than normal to hit this year but mid to late season was insane. There was one week in March with no one around and people were getting fatigue from riding so much powder and the mountain was just ridiculous, tree runs with a metre of powder on every bump, huge pillows you could submerge yourself in and come out of at the end of a section coughing up snow. So, so good. All this snow also meant that March had the most insane park on Whistler I have ever seen, feature after feature after feature, the park became an aerobic experience and everyone learnt a ton of tricks and had a great time.
